Hey… from Paradise!! Today was a very eventful and fun-filled day!! We woke up promptly at 7:30 a.m. and ate a delicious breakfast of pancakes and snausages… Mmmm!! We then saddled up at 9:00 for our trip into town for the 2 snorkels and to get to know the locals. We got to meet some interesting people including Alberto at the Conch shack, Miss Marshall – she has lived for 90 Christmases and is a master basket weaver , and Otis a woodcarver, who even sang to us. But they blessed us with their presence. For lunchtime we all tried some Conch, a local delicacy, and “Grouper fingers,” which really did taste like chicken. All during lunch break we got to rock out and jam with a karaoke machine and Bob Marley impersonations. After all that we now call the Travel Van “home”. We ate a good spaghetti dinner. When din din was done, we all learned the art of weaving baskets from a woman named Annie. It’s harder than it seems!! A few people gave up but most of the group is still weaving along. We are having a terrific time but still miss everyone!!

Grammy was over tonight, and it was sad to not have you guys here to watch Jon & Kate with us...I felt dumb being the only one "awwwww"ing at the cute kids!!!

Tara and Lace - Okay, okay, I've finally figured out the website after not getting an e-mail until your mother showed me the web address last night. Better late than never. Envy you of course but did remark to your mother Saturday night that we haven't been this alone since Los Angeles which predates you guys - and Sean. So it's nice here too in an old way. Everyone's fine, i.e. Chinch, Calley and Squeaky (no escapes!). Will be printing out pictures for your mother to take home later.
