A DAY ON THE BOAT

Today we woke up and went right to breakfast from a late wake up notice. After breakfast, we got things ready to go out on the boat with Rob, Red & Ryan. Our first snorkel was at Staniard Rock where we saw lots of rainbow parrotfish, and Ryan, the first in the water, saw a 4 foot reef shark…(totally harmless…don’t worry…) Next we went to Staniard Wreck where only some people went in the water…others were slackers and didn’t go in. Then we went to Club Colors on Jimmy’s Beach for a picnic lunch, where we soaked up some rays and played beach volleyball. After lunch we went to Pigeon Cay to do a biodiversity lab and to gather algae for the algae pressing lab. We came back “home” and did the actual lab. We postponed our night snorkel and plan do it before dawn on Fri instead. We had lots of study time, had dinner, and had a coral reef health and threats lecture from Rob (the greatest boat captain ever) soon after.
Love, Lee, Val, Rach, and Mal.

MarBios------>>>>Greetings from the Town of Brant!!! I think I'm finally getting this figured out.

Your Photos are terrific. Take advantage of each and every learning opportunity because you may have to wait a long time to be involved in another 'expedition'. Warm and sunny conditions await your return.

Check out my earlier posts (if you can find them!).

Be safe,

Dr. Kuj

Looks like everyone is having a great time. AP Bio kids pay attention during your lectures, you never know what might be helpful on an essay! Enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of Andros! Bring back lots of pictures.

Kelsey May, is that you taking control of the boat, taking everyones lives in your hands?? Haha, its ok, I know your a great driver. It looks like fun. (Ssssshhh don't tell Lee I'm saying this but PLEASE tell me they didn't let her drive the boat. I hope you told them she is not even allowed to get her permit til shes 27, hahaha.)
Alicia Marie, no back seat driving while the other kids were in control of the boat, right?? A totally harmless shark? I didn't know there was such a thing.
Continue to enjoy every second, take in all the sights and take lots of pictures. Don't forget pics of Rae's babies!!
Miss you tons,
Ich liebe dich!!!!

Hi Brandon,

Scott wanted me to ask you one question....If you can't flush the paper products where are they dumping them? You're on an island! Is this all going into the water? Hope you're taking lots of pictures. I'm suppose to pick the Jeep up on Friday. Hopefully its done. I also had him take a look at that belt that was squealing! Hope you're having a great time and catching some rays. It's suppose to be 78 on Saturday when you get back.

Miss ya

Hi Zach,
Remember to smell the roses (sea shells) while you have the chance. This trip will soon be over and only memories and pictures to dream about. Josh, Zach, Lauren, Emily and Mom say hi. It looks like you will be home just in time for your NYC trip. Wow, what a great senior year.
We love and miss you a lot!
